AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL PRAYER BREAKFAST

Our 2026 Student Leaders had the incredible privilege of attending this year’s event in Canberra. It was an inspiring and memorable experience, and we are so proud of how respectfully, thoughtfully and generously our students represented GPCC.

Throughout the day, our leaders engaged with influential voices including:
• Julian Leeser – Shadow Minister for Education
• Dr Gordon Reid – MP for Robertson
• Dr Rachel Carling – CSA Director of Public Policy
• Mr Ian Liney – CSA NSW/ACT Representative

Students were both challenged and encouraged by Dr John Dickson, who reminded all in attendance of the importance of being leaders who show both conviction and compassion.

The Australian National Prayer Breakfast is a significant annual gathering, first held in 1986, bringing together leaders from across the political spectrum and the wider community to pray and reflect on the future of our nation. Rooted in the tradition of the Parliamentary Christian Fellowship, the event highlights the vital role of faith in public life. To learn more about follow this link:
